Mr. Grady currently serves as Transition Manager, Gartmore U.S., a new position created by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. in connection with its proposed sale of Gartmore U.S. to its affiliate, Nationwide Financial Services. Prior to assuming his current position with Nationwide, Mr. Grady served as President of Highline Investment Consulting LLC, a Philadelphia-based consulting firm that provides advice to financial institutions regarding structuring, operating and reorganizing investment businesses, including both pooled and separate account services. Before founding Highline in 2006, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Constellation Investment Management Company, L.P., a registered investment adviser that served as adviser and administrator for the Constellation Funds Group. Prior to that, Mr. Grady served as Chief Operating Officer for Turner Investment Partners, a Berwyn, Penn.-based institutional money management firm specializing in growth equity investing, and managing director for the firm's mutual funds operations. After graduating from law school in 1985, Mr. Grady was an attorney in private practice; from 1995- 2001, he was a partner with the firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in the firm's Philadelphia office. While in private practice, he advised fund companies, broker-dealers, investment advisers and banks, and focused on the formation, organization and operation of mutual funds. Mr. Grady worked with fund families sponsored by various financial services firms, including Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley/Miller Anderson, Commonfund and Vanguard, and was a frequent speaker at industry conferences and seminars. Mr. Grady received his JD from The Law School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1985, and received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in 1982. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, Maryland and the District of Columbia, and has taught as an adjunct professor at both The Law School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Widener University School of Law. |
