John Flanagin coordinates research on external investment management products, and he specializes in research and investment in selected environmental and energy infrastructure sectors. He also provides general support for public equity research and publishing and works on marketing communications for the firm’s private capital funds. Prior to joining First Analysis in 2000, he was executive director of the National Strategy Forum, a foreign policy and national security research institution. Earlier, he worked as a writer and editor for the Washington Monthly, the Wilson Quarterly, and Commerce Clearinghouse. He earned a master’s degree in diplomatic history from the American University and a bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University. |
