John Fierko is in his first season as Director of Team Services, focusing on ticket sales and providing support to all ECHL teams.
Fierko joined the ECHL in September 2006 following more than eight years with the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association as assistant director of client relations and assistant director of ticket operations. He began his professional career as director of ticket sales for the Trenton Thunder minor league baseball team, establishing the team’s ticket office in its inaugural season and was responsible for marketing strategies and ticket sales for the 1997 Double-A All-Star Game. He spent four years with the Thunder, including one season as director of stadium operations, before joining the 76ers.
Fierko has attended NBA Marketing, Sales and Customer Service Seminars each of the past eight years while also attending American Management Seminars and The Disney Institute, Management and Service Disney Style. He was awarded his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from The College of New Jersey. Fierko resides in Princeton with his wife and three daughters. |
