Mr. Fess joined Blue Heron in 2005 as Chief Operating Officer to oversee Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Information Systems and to direct ongoing redesign and deployment of critical business systems. He was named Chief Executive Officer in October 2006 as part of Blue Heron's continuing strategy to build the business and forge key partnerships with leading industry players. Mr. Fess brings over 25 years of experience to Blue Heron from assignments at companies ranging from startups to Fortune five, in the oil, semiconductor and computer-related industries. He holds degrees in Math, Computer Science, and Operations Research from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. |
