John Farr has an impressive individual track record in his career with Pervasive. A certified public accountant, John joined Pervasive in 1994 and served in various capacities, including his most recent five years as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Under his financial leadership, Pervasive has achieved consecutive quarters of profitability since 2001. John became the President and CEO of Pervasive in 2006.He brings a tremendous amount of insight into Pervasive's business given his active involvement with the company since its inception in 1994. Prior to joining Pervasive, John spent 12 years in public accounting with KPMG LLP, an international accounting firm. John received his BS in business administration, summa cum laude, from Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas, in 1982.
