John Drennan joined the Dallas office of American Capital in November 1999. Mr. Drennan has invested and managed over $500 million in debt and equity investments in 15 companies. He serves on the board of directors of American Capital portfolio companies A. H. Harris & Sons and Engineered Textile Group and previously served on the board of Service Transport.
Prior to joining American Capital, Mr. Drennan was a Senior Associate with Providence Capital Partners, a private investment firm controlled by the Cambridge Companies, a diversified investment holding company. He previously served as an Associate with Berkshire Partners, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm focused on the telecommunications sector. John started his career as a Certified Public Accountant in Ernst & Young's audit practice. His responsibilities included executing both financial audits and accounting due diligence projects.
Mr. Drennan received his MBA from the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and his BBA in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. |
