John Copple is chief executive officer of Sanborn, where he focuses on the overall management and growth of the company.

Mr. Copple joined Sanborn in 2003 after serving as CEO of Space Imaging, a Denver-based satellite imagery company, for nearly a decade. Prior to joining Space Imaging, Mr. Copple was a corporate officer and vice president of E-Systems, a company purchased by Raytheon, Inc. in May of 1995. During his tenure at E-Systems (1988 until 1995), Mr. Copple held a variety of positions and was a vice president and corporate officer. Mr. Copple also served as vice president in the Garland Division of E-Systems, a unit that develops and produces high-speed digital processing systems.

Mr. Copple holds a BBA and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served on a number of corporate, industry, and government boards.
