John is a partner at Ignition and invests in enterprise software and services companies. John currently serves as a director on the boards of Nike and Jobster. Prior to Ignition, John served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Microsoft Corporation from January 2000 to April 2005. He joined Microsoft in 1989 and held various management positions, including Corporate Controller from 1994 to 1996, Chief Information Officer from 1996 to 1999 and Vice President, Worldwide Enterprise Group in 1999. John is a graduate of the University of Montana. He is a Trustee of the Nature Conservancy of Montana and the University of Montana Foundation. He also serves on the National Advisory Board for University of Montana Athletics and is a Board member for Bellevue Washington Football Boosters. |
