On 28 April 2008, Mr Bevan agreed to act as a executive director and Chief Executive Officer of Alumina Limited effective from 16 June 2008.
Mr Bevan came to Alumina Limited from BOC Group Plc where he most recently held the position of chief executive of Process Gas Solutions and was elected to the Board of Directors. He has had a long career with the BOC Group Plc including a variety of management roles in Australia, Korea, Thailand and the UK before becoming chief executive of Asia in 2000.
Mr Bevan brings strong commercial and operational experience gained through operating in joint ventures in many parts of the world, particularly Asia. |
