John is Chairman of Aviva Global Services and was appointed as Group HR Director in April, 2006. A significant player in leading his organization through the varied mergers and acquisitions, he has helped establish a strong business with outstanding leaders and engaged employees.
John brings with him six years of experience as HR Director for Norwich Union Insurance and then HR Director for Norwich Union Life. As HR Director of Norwich Union Insurance, he was responsible for its entire worldwide General Insurance Business. John has been instrumental in strategizing Aviva's off shoring operations and prominent in reinforcing it. As its Steering Committee member, he was given the additional responsibility as Chairman of Aviva Global Services in 2005. Prior to joining Norwich Union Insurance in 1999, he held several senior HR positions in numerous international organizations across diverse industries such as retailing, IT and healthcare.
John is a law graduate and Chartered Member of CIPD. |
