John Blizzard was named vice president and managing director of member services in October 2005. In this capacity, he has profit center responsibilities for the Seattle Bank’s advances program and correspondent services areas. These responsibilities include lending, new product development, point-of-sale operations, transaction negotiations, marketing, and business development.
Mr. Blizzard joined the bank in 2001 as an account manager, and has also served as vice president, product and services and as national accounts manager.
Before joining the Seattle Bank, Mr. Blizzard managed various business units at Seattle Financial Group, with profit center responsibilities for production offices where he also oversaw new product development. He began his career with 66 Federal Credit Union in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where he held the positions of consumer lending manager, branch manager, loan officer, and customer service representative.
Mr. Blizzard earned a bachelor of science degree in management and marketing from Oklahoma State University in 1989 and a master’s in business administration from Seattle University in 1999. He graduated from Pacific Coast Graduate School of Banking in 2003. |
