John Young, Vice President, focuses on the organizational, strategic, and economic aspects of the downstream oil industry. He has more than 20 years of experience in supply and refinery planning, marketing, distribution, corporate planning, and management consulting. In recent consulting work, Mr. Young recommended companywide improvements to the supply chain process and organizational structure of a European major; helped a Scandinavian integrated oil company establish a new SBU structure across all business activities; worked together with a Middle Eastern NOC to develop its strategic directions for the next 20 years; defined the appropriate postmerger organizational structure for two North African refining and marketing companies, followed by postmerger integration assistance; and operated as change management consultant to the E & P subsidiary of a major NOC. Prior to joining CRA, Mr. Young was a Senior Manager in Arthur D. Little’s Global Energy practice, and previously, he held positions with Total Oil (U.K.) and the Economist Intelligence Unit. |
