John began his American Culinary Federation Apprenticeship in 1979 at the Five-Star St. Louis restaurant Tony's. Upon completion, his education was furthered at the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Chef Kennealy has served as Executive Chef of the Noonday Club since 1991. John is involved with the St. Louis Friends of James Beard Foundation and has appeared at the Beard House in New York City. He is a certified member of the American Culinary Federation, a medal recipient of numerous Culinary Competitions, a member of the St. Louis Culinary Society and a past recipient of the Missouri Seafood Chef of the Year Award. John and his wife, Kathy a locally recognized pastry chef live in Webster Groves. |
