John T. Tolo, President & CEO of Tolo, Inc., has more than 16 years of professional investor relations experience. His broad range of experience includes corporate positioning, strategic message development , an in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of the financial community and what drives value for public companies in the marketplace. He has frequently presented his investor relations program conclusions and recommendations before senior management teams, including Boards of Directors, across the country.
Mr. Tolo’s expertise lies in developing customized investor relations strategies and implementing action plans that achieve optimum results and return on investment. He has extensive experience with program design, institutional investor targeting; monitoring and analysis of key market performance indicators; financial community meetings, including teleconferences and Internet webcasting; perception research; strategic planning; professional development for investor relations personnel; and corporate structuring, including mergers and acquisitions.
For over the past decade, John Tolo has directed the development and completion of hundreds of financial community meetings that have resulted in millions of dollars of share value enhancement for both companies and shareholders. Other responsibilities included development and implementation of focused investor relations programs to reach key members of the financial community; audience targeting and management of financial community contact lists; evaluation of financial community meeting results by conducting feedback interviews and summarizing the findings and providing recommendations for improvements. He also developed and managed distribution of two industry calendars which were distributed to thousands of financial analysts, portfolio managers and corporate investor relations professionals.
Prior to the sale of Christensen & Associates, a leading international investor relations firm, John was Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the firm. He is a graduate of Arizona State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. John has been an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute for the past 12 years, currently serving as President of the Arizona Chapter. He is also actively involved with the American Gas Association and the Edison Electric Institute. |
