John joined Allen C. Ewing & Co. in 2001. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 25 years in the real estate industry, operating a residential general contracting firm and was part of the development team creating over $150 million in oceanfront properties in Florida. His early career was with the Hibernia National Bank in New Orleans. John's focus is in non-banking areas, with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions of lower middle market firms and private placements in real estate, oil and gas, software and other offerings. John is a graduate of Tulane University, (BS) Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Finance, and is on the Board of Directors of the Tulane Alumni Association and of the North East Florida Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. |
