Mr. Bullock has a diverse civil litigation practice that emphasizes complex commercial disputes and rights in real property. Mr. Bullock is an experienced courtroom advocate, having served as lead or co-trial counsel in numerous trials, arbitrations, and other contested proceedings. He appears on behalf of clients before state and local regulatory agencies and elected officials throughout the State of California. He regularly argues before state and federal courts on law and motion matters, and has obtained dismissals, judgments, and sanctions against adverse parties in advance of or in lieu of trial. Real Estate and Construction Mr. Bullock represents property owners, developers and managers, commercial landlords and tenants, contractors, and homeowners in real property, commercial leasing, and construction disputes. He has successfully prosecuted and defended litigation involving ownership rights in real property, commercial leasing, property boundaries, easements, adverse possession, title and encumbrances, inverse condemnation, eminent domain, conditions, covenants and restrictions, zoning and land use, environmental impact, ADA compliance, timber rights, construction defects, structural failure, water seepage and flow, mold remediation, lateral and subjacent support, landslides, earth movement, nuisance, and seller/broker liability. He works extensively with experts in structural, geotechnical, architectural, civil and mechanical engineering. Commercial Litigation, Consumer Protection, and Business Torts Mr. Bullock represents clients pursuing or defending claims for unlawful, unfair, and deceptive business practices under Business and Professions Code section 17200, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and related statutes. He litigates claims for false advertising, antitrust, consumer fraud, unlawful taking of property, defamation, interference with contract, freedom of speech, conversion, rescission, securities fraud, breach of contract, officers and directors' liability, partnership and corporate disputes, goodwill, business dissolutions, corporate accounting and disclosures, insurance coverage, and professional liability.
