Mr. McDougall, a resident of New Milford, CT, graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1971 with a B.S. in Sociology. He received a MBA in 1992 from Western Connecticut State University, Ancell School of Business, and has numerous certificates and credits in finance and financial planning. Before joining the CoActiv team, John was with AMSYS, Inc. since 1990, serving in the capacities of staff accountant, service manager, office manager and most recently as the VP of Operations. Prior to AMSYS, Mr. McDougall served with the US Navy (retired as a Full Commander USNR-R), Contract and site Manager for American Systems (Hospital Management Company), Office & Warehouse Manager for Snap-On Tools and Controller for American Computer Leasing (mainframe computer leasing company). During his time at AMSYS, he has also worked with both the marketing and technical staff to develop standards to meet the constantly changing environment of the IT industry. As part of his operational duties at AMSYS, he also supervised the AMSYS IT staff at Danbury Hospital from 1993 to 2002. He was instrumental in assisting the hospital in restructuring and training its staff to the point where the hospital was able to bring all of its IT desktop support in house and eliminate the need for outside IT support. Mr. McDougall will be responsible for both financial and operational management at CoActiv and will supervise purchasing, AR and AP operations. John will also coordinate PACS, modality and medical equipment leasing with CoActiv’s financing partners. |
