J. Randall Davis is the Administrative Partner in the firm's Libertyville office and specializes in civil litigation with an emphasis on the defense of personal injury claims, and commercial and related areas of practice including contract and insurance coverage matters. The Libertyville office serves Lake County, McHenry County, Winnebago County, Boone County, Cook County, and Southern Wisconsin. Mr. Davis has handled all aspects of litigation from discovery through trial and has handled jury trials as well as bench trials, arbitrations, mediations, and other dispute resolutions. Mr. Davis is also cognizant that some cases do not warrant a trial, but rather settlement. To that end he is well versed in both mediation and arbitration, either court-annexed or private. He actively participated in the formation, management, and operation of not-for-profit corporations and has consulted with not-for-profit corporations in areas of general liability and risk management. Mr. Davis has participated in the preparation or presentation of numerous seminars and lectures to professional and trade organizations, including the Illinois Institute for Continuing Education, insurance companies, construction groups, and others. |
