Dr. Wigneswaran is a Nephrologist with a keen interest in Acute Decompensated Heart Failure - particularly with how it can impact renal function, the effectiveness of diuretic therapy and quality of life. Dr. Wigneswaran received his Bachelor's degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Shortly thereafter he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University and his Nephrology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital- Cornell University where he also engaged in further study in the Division of Hypertension. Previously, Dr. Wigneswaran served as Medical Director in Medical Affairs at Johnson and Johnson, and is currently still practicing as a Nephrologist in Dayton, Ohio where he divides his time as Assistant Clinical Professor of Nephrology at Wright State University School of Medicine training medical residents, and seeing patients in his private practice. Dr. Wigneswaran is certified by both the Boards of Internal Medicine and Nephrology and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology. |
