John has served as chairman and chief executive officer of Innuity, Inc. since the company’s founding (as Vista.com) in 1999. During that time he has taken the company public, acquired and integrated four companies and grown revenues to $21million. John founded Innuity to support a vastly underserved market from a technology standpoint, small businesses.A well-known technology entrepreneur, John founded his first company, Wall Data in 1982 and grew it to a $150 million, publicly held company. During his 17-year leadership and CEO tenure with Wall Data, he transformed a fledging enterprise into a connectivity powerhouse and built dominant enterprise acceptance for the RUMBA product line brand. John is a civic leader in his Seattle home town and has been chairman of the WSA (formerly, the Washington Software Association) and the Digital Blackboard Foundation; he has also served as board director for the Corporate Council for the Arts. He is currently on the visiting committee for the University of Washington’s Physics Department. John holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Northern Arizona University. |
