John R. Simon with more than 17 years in the human resources and legal sector is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for PG&E Corporation and its primary subsidiary Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Simon is PG&E’s senior executive in all areas related to workforce attraction development and retention. He leads all efforts to ensure the company’s workforce currently 20 000 strong is comprised of talented motivated and energetic employees committed to delivering exceptional service and value for customers and shareholders in the increasingly competitive energy industry. Simon oversees talent and learning management labor relations diversity compensation executive recruiting and performance optimization.
Before joining PG&E Simon worked for seven years with TeleTech Holdings Inc. a Denver-based provider of customer care services and solutions with 47 000 employees in 17 countries. As executive vice president of global human capital Simon was responsible for the company’s benefits design and administration labor relations performance optimization human capital information systems and payroll and proprietary learning and talent management systems.
Simon also previously served as a partner at Hallenbeck Lascell LLP in Rochester New York where he represented several academic institutions and Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation.
Simon received his bachelor's degree from Colorado College and has a law degree from Georgetown University. |
