John Nelson has a wide range of litigation experience in commercial, construction, personal injury, professional malpractice, insurance, intellectual property, and product liability disputes. He was first-chair trial counsel and litigation counsel for a Fortune 500 company in multiple product liability, premises liability, and Deceptive Trade Practices Act cases. Mr. Nelson was also first-chair trial counsel for another Fortune 500 company in defective product litigation and represented a Fortune 100 company in product liability litigation brought by the State of Texas. In addition, he has provided counsel in construction cases, false advertising claims, toxic spill litigation, and wrongful death/premises liability litigation.
