Dr. John R. Fessler is a Managing Engineer in Exponent’s Mechanical Engineering practice. His areas of expertise include gas and liquid flows heat transfer manufacturing and risk assessment. Dr. Fessler specializes in experimental fluid mechanics particle-laden flow laser material processing and rapid prototyping. Within his broad range of mechanical engineering consulting expertise Dr. Fessler frequently provides consulting services in risk and safety analysis and the testing and analysis of fluid-thermal systems. Prior to joining Exponent Dr. Fessler was an Acting Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Stanford University where he conducted research and taught graduate and undergraduate classes in experimental heat transfer and fluid mechanics. Dr. Fessler received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. |
