John R. Cauble, Jr. joined the firm in 1998 and is Of Counsel in the firm’s real estate department. Mr. Cauble specializes in complex real estate transactions and is experienced in a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings and joint ventures.
Mr. Cauble is the author of several articles, including Negotiating the Loan Assumption Agreement: A Roadmap for Sellers and Buyers, The Real Estate Finance Journal (Spring 2002); When Is An Estoppel More Than An Estoppel?: Don’t Let your Tenant Estoppel Become an Unintentional Amendment, California Centers Magazine (May 2002); and Negotiating Real Property Purchase and Sale Agreements, Real Property Law Reporter (October 1988). For several years, Mr. Cauble was the chairman of the annual finance conference sponsored by the Urban Land Institute (ULI). In addition, he has spoken on joint ventures as well as on real property purchase and sale agreements at various programs.
Mr. Cauble was previously a partner in the law firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson.
