John Forest

John Forest handles business organization, estate planning/wealth preservation, and real estate matters from both the transactional and litigation aspects. Mr. Forest has represented individuals in their efforts to form, capitalize, organize, and prepare exit strategies for various commercial entities. He has counseled individuals with regard to preparation of estate plans, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives. Mr. Forest has significant litigation experience ranging from RICO claims in federal court to collections in small claims courts. He has represented national title insurance underwriters as well as local title agents on coverage questions. Mr. Forest received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond and has been in private practice since his graduation from the George Mason University School of Law in 1991. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar Business Law, Litigation, Real Estate and Trusts and Estates Sections. He is admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in Virginia and Maryland.
