John P. Tamisiea is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Chicago office. John is co-chair of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. John's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, joint ventures and general corporate counseling.
John represents public and private companies and investment banks. He has experience in a variety of transactions, joint ventures and other corporate matters. In several of these instances John serves as the client's general outside counsel. John's practice involves mergers and acquisitions for both publicly and privately held companies, public offerings, including the representation of underwriters and issuers, joint ventures, securities disclosure and compliance matters and the general representation of public and private companies.
John is admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois and is a member of the American Bar Association.
