John P. Grundig consults for Noel-Levitz from Coe College (IA), where he serves as dean of admission. He offers more than a decade of experience in institutional research and student recruitment for higher education. In his current position at Coe, Mr. Grundig manages and supervises the college’s admissions efforts. He is responsible for the development of Coe’s recruiting plans, and shares responsibility for setting financial aid strategies for new students, working closely with the financial aid office to allocate merit awards to incoming students. Previously, Mr. Grundig served as dean of enrollment at Jacksonville University (FL). There he oversaw both the admissions and financial aid offices. Under his direction in fall 2003, first-time freshman enrollment increased 9 percent over the previous fall semester. Also under his leadership, the university doubled the response rate of its student search purchase to 14 percent for fall 2004. Mr. Grundig also served as executive director of admissions and student development as well as director of institutional research at Jacksonville.

Mr. Grundig has published in The Journal of Business Disciplines, The Journal of the National Medical Association, and Family Medicine. He is a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC). Mr. Grundig received his M.B.A. from Jacksonville University. |
