John M. Richardson is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Chicago office. He is a member of the Corporate Department.
Before joining McDermott, John served for one year as a law clerk to the Honorable Wayne R. Andersen, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago. While in law school, he served on the Executive Board and as Coordinating Articles Editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. Prior to law school, he worked as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill for several years, and as an associate for an investment banking firm which specialized in public finance.
John is a member of the Illinois bar and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
