John M. Oakes, president of Microdyne Outsourcing Inc., has held senior management positions in outsourcing since 1990. He has experience with building infrastructure for web, data and voice-based services, including technical support outsourcing, customer relationship management (CRM) and information technologies (IT) management. Mr. Oakes began his outsourcing career by successfully deploying computer-telephony integration technologies during his tenure as president and CEO of TeleServ Corporation, a provider of outsourced customer service and help desk services to Fortune 500 clients. Previously, he was director of the BankHouse Exchange, Inc., a Boston-based merchant bank, where he specialized in developing the firm’s investor base. Prior to that, Mr. Oakes was a senior consultant specializing in financial and market strategy for the Citadel Group. Mr. Oakes began his career with Chase Manhattan Bank and was a member of Chase's banking staff for 11 years, where he served in various managerial positions as an international commercial banker, including assignments in London and Tokyo. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. |
