John M. Hollenbeck serves as executive vice president overseeing First American?s technology initiatives. Hollenbeck, who has been with First American for more than 20 years, most recently served as national title processes director, and oversaw the creation of First American?s FAST suite of e-commerce products and the company?s centralized and automated title search and production platforms. In his current role, Hollenbeck oversees technology to all areas of the company, including the real estate and consumer information services segments.
Under Hollenbeck?s leadership, First American started implementing new technologies to improve title production in 1997. The company began by investing in the development of The First American Network, a wide area network (WAN) that connects its offices nationwide.
Hollenbeck began his career with First American in 1980 working as a title searcher in the Riverside, Calif., office. In 1983, he moved to the Orange County title branch and served as a title officer and production manager. In 1989, Hollenbeck moved to the home office in Santa Ana, Calif., and became vice president and assistant senior underwriter. He was named senior underwriter in 1994, and in 1997 he took the newly created position of national title processes director charged with improving efficiencies across all title operations. |
