John Harris is the founder of Harris Law Firm, PLLC in Morehead City and is a Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a B. A. in Political Science and from Campbell University School of Law with a Jurist Doctorate.
Mr. Harris is a member of the NC State Bar; a committee member of the NC State Bar Paralegal Certification Board and a board member and past chairman of the N.C. Bar Association Real Property Section Council. He is a speaker at various CLE seminars for attorneys. Mr. Harris is the past president of both the Carteret County Bar Association and the Morehead City Rotary Club and is a member of First United Methodist Church. He is also a founding Board Member of Sound Bank.
Mr. Harris is married to Evelyn Bruton Harris. They have three children, Jordan, Callie and John Michael.
