John M. Dick is the general counsel for Keane, a $1 billion-plus global services firm that specializes in enabling transformation of its clients’ businesses and IT functions. John has overall responsibility for Keane’s legal organization, which supports Keane’s operations around the world.
John joined Keane shortly after its acquisition by Caritor in June 2007. Prior to joining Keane, John spent nine years with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP as of member of the Corporate and Securities group in its San Francisco, California, office. At Pillsbury, John advised private and public companies with respect to corporate governance issues, securities matters, and mergers and acquisitions. John also represented companies and funds in connection with private placements and with the formation of venture funds and private equity funds.
John holds a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and an MBA from the University of California, Haas School of Business. He received his bachelor of arts from Yale University. John serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Bay Area Discovery Museum, a non-profit children’s museum in Sausalito, California. |
