Lt. Gen. John L. Woodward, Jr. (USAF - Retired) was appointed to EMS Technologies’ Board of Directors in 2003, and currently serves on the Science and Technology Committee.
Mr. Woodward retired in 2002 as a Lieutenant General with 34 years’ experience in the United States Air Force.
During his Air Force career, he held a wide variety of assignments related to communications and command-and-control systems, including experience with space operations and acquisition management.
His last assignment prior to retirement was as Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Information, and Deputy Chief Information Officer, at Air Force Headquarters in Washington.
Mr. Woodward, who resides in Wellesley Island, New York, earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Webster College in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hobart College in Geneva, New York. |
