McGoldrick served as Executive Vice President, Bristol Myers Squibb company, or Bristol Myers Squibb, from October 2005 until his retirement in April 2006. He held the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Bristol Myers Squibb from January 2000 to October 2005. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel and President, Medical Devices Group from December 1998 to January 2000 and Senior Vice President and General Counsel from 1995 to December 1998. Senior director of the Board of the New Jersey Transit Corporation and member of the board of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), the medical device industry's trade association (1998-2002).
Mr. McGoldrick has served on several governmental reform commissions in New Jersey. He is an invited participant of The Aspen Institute on the World Economy and the World Economic Forum (Davos). Before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mr. McGoldrick was a senior partner and executive committee member of the law firm of McCarter & English. He is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Law School.
