John came to Tuthill from Danaher Corporation in January 2001. At Danaher, John's last position was as President of Joslyn Manufacturing Company based in Chicago, Ill. Joslyn manufactures electrical suppression devices and hardware for the power utility industry. Joslyn has yearly sales of $92 million and employs 675 people.
Prior to Joslyn, John was responsible for two plants for Delta Consolidated in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Delta is another division of Danaher that manufacturers metal and plastic storage containers for the automobile and construction markets.
John is well versed in lean manufacturing techniques having spent the last 5 years with Danaher a strong lean and six-sigma advocate.
