John Donnelly is Head of Human Resources for Citi. He was promoted to this position in July of 2007, when he also joined the Operating Committee. John has been a member of the Management Committee since January 2006.
John was Head of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs for Citi Markets and Banking business from 1998-2007. Prior to this he was Head of Human Resources for Smith Barney and then Solomon Smith Barney. John joined Smith Barney in 1978 and held various positions in Human Resources before assuming the Senior Human Resources role in 1994.
John is a graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations and currently sits on Rutgers University's Advisory Board for its Executive Masters in Human Resource Leadership Program. John also serves on the boards of two charitable organizations: Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an organization that provides trained guide dogs for visually impaired individuals; and Wall Street Rising, a coalition of businesses, industries, and individuals that was created in 2002 to restore vibrancy and vitality to lower Manhattan. |
