John K. Carlyle has served as one of the Company’s directors since November 2001. Mr. Carlyle is Chief Executive Officer of Accuro Healthcare Solutions, Inc. Mr. Carlyle served as the Chief Executive Officer of Magella Healthcare Corporation, a provider of neonatal and perinatal physician services, from 1997 until its merger with Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. in May 2001. From 1990 through 1997, he served in the positions of President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Concentra, Inc. (formerly OccuSystems, Inc.), a healthcare services and cost containment company in the occupational, auto and group healthcare markets. From 1985 through 1990, Mr. Carlyle served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Medical Care International, Inc., an operator of outpatient surgery centers. He currently serves on the board of directors of Concentra, Inc. and several private companies He served on the board of directors of Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. from May 2001 to May 2004 and was Chairman of the Board of Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. from June 2003 to May 2004. |
