Mr. Slater is a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department and its Business Law Group. He provides a full range of services to health care institutions (both for profit and not-for-profit organizations).

Mr. Slater represents various health care providers in the areas of corporate formation and organization, regulatory compliance, raising capital, tax exempt bond financing and planning and structuring major transactions such as strategic joint ventures and management buyouts.

Mr. Slater received his B.A. in 1976 from Boston College and his J.D. in 1979 from Boston College Law School. He has served as a lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and is a member of the Boston and American Bar Associations.

Mr. Slater is a member of the Town of Hingham School Committee and a founding member of the Hingham Education Foundation. He is also active in various business organizations, including serving as a member of the Development and Transportation Committee of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
