John J. McGrath is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the area of Civil Litigation and has substantial appellate and trial experience in a variety of matters ranging from federal and state court Class Actions, Insurance Coverage disputes, Commercial Litigation, Automobile Accident, Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Professional Malpractice claims. Mr. McGrath is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. McGrath served as a law clerk for the Honorable James R. Cavanaugh, Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Mr. McGrath graduated from the University of Scranton in 1981 with a B.S. in Economics/Finance. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 1984, where he served as a member of the Law Review. Mr. McGrath lectures to professional associations, including the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Continuing Legal Education section, and industry groups on various topics regarding litigation and insurance issues. |
