John Keane is senior vice president of Nordson Corporation, a multinational company with direct operations in 30 countries and more than 3,600 employees worldwide.Keane leads the company's Adhesive Dispensing and Nonwoven Fiber Systems segment, which includes the Packaging, Product Assembly, Nonwovens, Fiber and Web Coating Systems businesses.
Keane joined Nordson in 1992 as a project engineer in the Converting business. In 1997, he became engineering manager for the Packaging and Product Assembly Systems businesses and in 2000 was appointed to the position of vice president with responsibility for global engineering and marketing. In 2003, Keane was appointed a corporate vice president with responsibility for the Finishing and Coating Systems business. In this position, he directed worldwide sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing functions for the Container Coating, Powder Coating and Liquid Finishing businesses. Keane was appointed to his current position in October 2005.
Keane holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and attended the Harvard Business School’s advanced management program. |
