Gargana, 75, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2003 and serves on both the Audit and Compensation Committees of the Company. He was Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the Lord Abbett Group of Mutual Funds until his retirement in 1996. He is also a former member of the Operations Committee and of the Accounting/Treasurer’s Committee of the Investment Company Institute. He was an auditor at Deloitte Touche prior to joining Lord Abbett in 1965. Lord Abbett is a private, independent money management company founded in 1929 and is one of the nation’s longest continuously existing money management firms. |
