John H. Warner, Jr. is currently Executive Vice President of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a leading systems, solutions and technical services company. Dr. Warner joined SAIC as a member of the technical staff in 1973 and served on its Board of Directors for nearly twenty years. As SAIC executive vice president, he has responsibilities for risk management, contracts and procurement, and serves on numerous SAIC committees. He also chairs the SAIC Retirement Plans Committee and the Executive Risk Management Committee, the committee responsible for executive-level risk policies and guidance. Prior to his current position, Dr. Warner served as Chief Administrative Officer. Before that he had line executive management responsibilities, including a major SAIC segment with over 13,500 employees and seven diversified sectors, as well as an independent group with total annual revenues in excess of $1.6 billion. Dr. Warner serves on the Board of Directors of AMSEC LLC, a majority-owned subsidiary of SAIC. In addition, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the California Chamber of Commerce, the Corporate Directors Forum, and the Board of Trustees for Scripps Health. He also serves on the Jacobs School Council of Advisors at UCSD. He was a recent four-year member of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. |
