John H. Longstreet is the executive vice president people strategy. He is responsible for risk management; compensation and benefits; recruiting and leadership development; and employee partner and member relations. Longstreet also serves on ClubCorp's Executive Committee. He previously served as vice president of operations of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. Longstreet joined InterContinental Hotels & Resorts upon its acquisition of Bristol Hotels & Resorts as the senior Bristol transition executive. Prior to that Longstreet was vice president of operations at Bristol. During his career at Bristol which began in 1983 he served in a variety of positions including vice president of employee services and vice president of administration. Longstreet holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel administration from Cornell University in Ithaca New York. In addition he served two terms as mayor of Plano Texas. |
