John Vernachio, Ph.D. has served as Vice President of Biology since 2007. He served as Senior Director of Biological Sciences from 2004 to 2007 and as Director, Biological Resources from 1998 to 2004. From 1997 to 1998, Dr. Vernachio held several management positions with Valentis, Inc. including Director of Life Sciences. He was a member of the Gene Therapy Unit of Baxter Healthcare Corp. from 1991 to 1997, where he served as Manager of Molecular Immunology. Dr. Vernachio received a B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Vermont, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Immunology at the Research Institute of Scripps Clinic. |
