John Schultz' responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of SIRIUS' Human Resources including staffing, employee relations, communication, employee development, compensation, benefits, and organizational development and design. He is also responsible for company facilities and security.
Prior to joining SIRIUS, Schultz was Vice President Human Resources at Global Crossing, where he was responsible for staffing global operations and overall human resources management for the company's Global Solutions Business Unit. He was also responsible for Corporate Talent Management initiatives, which focused on processes for employee selection, development, assessment, retention and succession planning around key competencies. Accomplishments during this period include acquisitions integration management, global hiring process implementation, hiring of 2000 5000 employees annually, cost per hire reductions, and management and support of multiple organizational realignments.
Previously, Schultz was Director, Human Resources at Frontier Communication, a leading provider of integrated communications services nationwide. From 1990 through 1999, Schultz held Human Resource Management responsibilities in the areas of Organizational Effectiveness, Training, Employee Relations, HRIS, Staffing, Communications, Sales Incentive Compensation and Benefits Administration. His accomplishments during this period include acquisitions integration management, employee attrition reduction, cost per hire reduction, culture change management, sales productivity improvements and sales incentive compensation improvements.
His previous experience includes management positions at Rochester Tel in the areas of marketing, sales, acquisition, integration, customer and employee research, and employee communications. |
