John H. Murray is president and chief operating officer of the firm and is a principal in the Easton and Baltimore offices. Mr. Murray's land use practice includes zoning, annexation, critical areas, contracting for the purchase, sale and development of real estate, drafting community covenants and restrictions and establishing and advising homeowners’ associations. His health care practice involves the general representation of hospitals and other health care providers, including contracts, purchase and sale agreements, leasing, tax-exempt issues, regulatory matters, operations and organizational and planning matters. Mr. Murray previously defended civil rights and employment claims as a special assistant attorney general for the Commonwealth of Virginia. His practice includes the defense of discrimination. In addition, he has extensive experience in drafting and counseling employers regarding personnel policies and employment agreements.
