John Wright has always had a genuine concern for the well being of others. In 1972 he graduated from the Sacred Heart Seminary with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Before joining Wright & Filippis in 1978, he served as manager of Johnson Rents, DME Company located in Detroit. John is a previous board member of H.M.E Association. He is instrumental in the implementation of Michigan and National TPA programs for DME/P&O benefits, together with BCBSM, including; employer groups DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Michigan Public School Employee Retirement System, and State of Michigan. John has been working in cooperation with several Managed Care Organizations relative to Home Medical Equipment, Prosthetics and Orthotics for over 25 years negotiating preferred provider arrangements and TPA and ASO services. As a board member of Lighthouse of Oakland County, John supports services to low-income families in Oakland County and Ziad which provides services for underinsured people of Michigan. As Vice President of Wright & Filippis, John oversee the TPA division of the company along with Marketing function, H.M.E, Rehab Wheelchair and Home Infusion divisions of the provider side of Wright & Filippis. |
