Promoted to executive vice president of debt management for SLM Corporation in January 2003. Assumed responsibility for SLM Financial Corporation, the company’s consumer lending division, in February 2006. Oversees debt management operations at facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Those operations include more than 3,800 employees at five subsidiaries. Previously served as senior vice president of debt management operations and senior vice president of the Western Collections Center. Joined Sallie Mae as part of the company's acquisition of USA Group.
