Since his days as a trial lawyer in the Antitrust Division of the United States Justice Department, John Graybeal's practice has focused primarily in the areas of antitrust and trade regulation, both litigation and counseling.
Mr. Graybeal represents a wide variety of clients including corporations, trade associations and individuals. Most of his clients are in the insurance, manufacturing and distribution and health care industries. He assists many of these clients with the implementation of antitrust compliance programs to satisfy the requirements of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
He has extensive experience defending clients involved in federal antitrust grand jury and civil investigations. He also represents clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions under scrutiny by the Antitrust Division of the United States Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission.
Mr. Graybeal taught the antitrust law course at the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill from 1995 to 2000. He has also provided volunteer legal services to the North Carolina Justice Center in Raleigh for several years.
