Recent Business Experience: Mr. Englar held numerous positions with Burlington Industries, Inc. from 1978-2003, including Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Law, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He served as a Director of Burlington from 1990 - 2003. In 2001, due to increasing global competition, the company filed for Chapter 11; Mr. Englar was a member of the executive team that successfully took the company private when a financier acquired it in 2003. Before joining Burlington, he spent seven years at the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardell in New York and Paris. Mr. Englar is a member of the Corporate Governance and Public Issues Committee of Delphi's Board of Directors.
